True statement. Do you think foreign kids are adopted more because their caretakers think they can get away with certain human rights violations? This is something I’ve heard said from individuals on numerous podcasts I’ve listened to, how some families have abused foreign-born children or used them as servants. Just a random thought.

Also, it didn’t even cross my mind that adopting foreign-born children would be cheaper. I’ve definitely learned something new today.
