This was extremely refreshing to read. Your nose and Black features are beautiful — I’m assuming that’s your picture at the top of this page. I didn’t know about the exaggerated nose being something used for harming Blacks; that’s quite the history fact. Unfortunately, I still see young (mostly Black) children still being made fun of or bullying others for having a bigger nose. This shows me that it’s a persisting issue which has yet to go away. How do you suppose we as a society go about correcting this form of discrimination? Should we start in-house with the Black community? I’m interested to read your take.
