Great piece! How do you suppose we change the narrative around how domestic terrorists, attackers, and criminals are categorized/portrayed in America? Should there be more diversity — Black people and other people of color — involved in reporting news stories? Is there a chance that even reporters and media that aren’t predominantly White will fall victim to portraying Black people as violent and White people as poor victims? I’m just curious to know your thoughts. A lot of people complain about the issues, but I’d like to know if you believe there is actually a solution.
