Do you have any theories on why a man might say “good female friends are hard to come by?” I am also asking this question as a follow-up to the line you wrote earlier, stating, “Contrary to popular belief, not all men are self-serving pieces of shit.” That line you mentioned, I’m assuming, would most commonly be believed or stated by women. Do you think men’s belief that it’s hard to find good female friends could be due to a similar mindset — and by that I mean a viewpoint that many, if not all, women are terrible humans?

I’m generally curious about this statement, and don’t mean to speak negatively about women. I have never had the mindset that good female friends are hard to come by. I’m of the belief that good friends, in general, are hard to come by.
